Even during Karabakhi war Suret Huseynov was ready to takeover the position from Ganja with OPON but was dragged back to Baku by the new Government.

Yes, Ganja is the man in the house :)Fatalinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17051443218056502975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5126498084582547215.post-71083693607574405052009-05-29T18:34:35.997+05:002009-05-29T18:34:35.997+05:00As a descendant of exiled Ganjali survivors I find...As a descendant of exiled Ganjali survivors I find it necessary to stress that Ganja's resistance is a much more complex phenomenon, which should not be linked to ADR exclusively. It's so much larger than that. Ganja was the only Azerbaijani town to put up an organised resistance to invading Mongols. Javad Khan was the only Azerbaijani ruler who refused to to surrender and chose to fight the Russian imperial forces instead. We know about some events in Ganja in early 1990s. So, the resistance of 1920 is just an episode, though a significant one, in Ganja's great and glorious history of disobedience. Republics may come and go, but Ganja is there to stay.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5126498084582547215.post-68478990865336389072009-05-29T18:25:34.633+05:002009-05-29T18:25:34.633+05:00Ganja is the capital of Jamaica, isn't it? :-PGanja is the capital of Jamaica, isn't it? :-PAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
